On November 27, we started a new unit and in this unit we are reading a play called Fences.The play was written by August Wilson in the 1950s. We talked about why people make fences and some of the class said fences are made to set boundaries,protection and also the disadvantages of them. We said one can run into them and also can keep you from getting somewhere in case of emergencies.
On November 28, we read a play by August Wilson and before we started reading the play,our teacher chose some students and gave them a role to do in the play. The rest of the class were audiences and were given a sheet and was told to list down interesting quotes and also the key events from the play we read that day.The audience were then told to describe the characters that they come across while’s the play was in session and also told to summarize the play we read that day.
