On December 4,we were given an assessment in class to do.In the test,we were given a story to read and questions that correspond to the story.We were also told to complete the story but we weren't able to complete the assessment before the period ended.

 On November 30, we continued reading the play by August Wilson but we were told to read it on our own.The class was given a sheet which had questions about what we were about to read and also what we previously read. Reflection summary:I was able to answer questions on a play and also describe a person's characteristics,personality and behaviors. 

 My racial descent is Ghanaian.My cultural heritage is a mix of different races because it is based on our shared ancestry,language and cultural traditions. The first image talks about how we celebrate our festivals.It is when the people and the chief of the cultural race come together to witness how the celebration is being celebrated.The people of the cultural race dances while drummers and other instruments are being played during the celebration of the festival.The second and third images talks about how our cultural race dress.We wear traditional cloths to show the beauty of it and and these cloths are called "Kente" in our local dialect.The forth image shows how children are named.First of all,the child is being kept indoors for seven days(7) and on the seventh day, the child is brought outdoors and being given a name.The whole family organizes a place the are going to host the ceremony and the child is given to the elder or the head of both families.The then dips his i...

 On November 28, we read a play by August Wilson and before we started reading the play,our teacher chose some students and gave them a role to do in the play. The rest of the class were audiences and were given a sheet and was told to list down interesting quotes and also the key events from the play we read that day.The audience were then told to describe the characters that they come across while’s the play was in session and also told to summarize the play we read that day.

 On November 27, we started a new unit and in this unit we are reading a play called Fences.The play was written by August Wilson in the 1950s. We talked about why people make fences and some of the class said fences are made to set boundaries,protection and also the disadvantages of them. We said one can run into them and also can keep you from getting somewhere in case of emergencies.
